Whiner In Chief

It would appear that a slim majority of Americans chose a ‘whiner’ to lead the nation last November, instead of a man of strength.

Just six weeks into his administration, the New York Times conducted an interview with Obama aboard Air Force One.

They report that Obama said,

Look, I wish I had the luxury of just dealing with a modest recession or just dealing with health care or just dealing with energy or just dealing with Iraq or just dealing with Afghanistan. I don’t have that luxury, and I don’t think the American people do, either.”

President George W. Bush didn’t have that luxury either, after the worst terrorist attack in history occurred shortly after he took office.

President Ronald Reagan didn’t have that luxury either when he assumed office in the midst of a much deeper recession and with America’s spirit all but shattered.

What makes this different though, is a stunning statement coming out of Obama’s mouth, but not included in the main article. It is included however, in the transcript that few read. Obama amazingly stated,
Somebody noted to me that by the time something reaches my desk, that means it’s really hard. Because if it were easy, somebody else would have made the decision and somebody else would have solved it.”

What did he expect, a cakewalk?

During the 2004 campaign, President George W. Bush was lampooned for referring to the Presidency during a debate with John ‘F’in Kerry (who served in Viet Nam), that “It’s hard work.” That statement brought cries of
he is in over his head. Way over his head.”

Don’t expect to see any of these same detractors who endlessly bashed President Bush for such a statement to suddenly realize that it took Bush nearly 4 years in office to make such a statement. It took Obama six weeks!

And, Obama hasn’t had to deal with an attack on America that cost 3,000 American lives!

For 8 years, President George W. Bush led the nation while enduring daily assaults on his leadership, his character, his decisions, his intelligence, his performance and his abilities from the media, politicians and BDS infected citizens. Yet not once do I recall him pointing fingers at others or to previous administrations.

Much like the president who preceded Mr. Bush, known for everything being some else’s fault during his 8 years in office, Obama saw fit to telephone the reporter hours after the interview ended with a “clarification.”

Obama said in part,
I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement – the prescription drug plan without a source of funding.”

No, but they sure passed the largest spending increase in our history, without a source of funding.

Little wonder that in just 6 short weeks, his “Strongly Approve of” ratings has dropped to 39% from a high of 45% and is dropping as people see weakness, not strength in their choice.

Shortly = 8 months? OK, though I'd consider 'shortly' to be just a metter of a few weeks.

If only he had been warned.

Ronald Reagan...assumed office in the midst of a much deeper recession

Deeper than what, your intellect?

Man, what you don't know could fill a book.

You're such a moron, snarkie. Obviously you aren't old enough to recall when Reagan took office, with unemployment nearly double what it is now and interest rates nearing 21%.

As for 911, yes, if only the previous administration had taken advantage of one of the multiple chances they had to capture or kill Osama bin Laden. Or, is it still Usama, now that Barry got the prize?

Your usual empty rhetoric and lack of knowledge of important matters shines through again, snarkie.

Now, go wipe yourself off of the bottom of your shoe. You're stinking up the house.

I have a feeling no matter what we say, it will be wrong - twisted into something it was never meant (either explicitly or implicitly) by the likes of my good friend snarkie. He seems to have severe to profound comprehension difficulty, at the very least. Perhaps we could convince Barack to get hold of some funds to send snarkie to remedial English classes...

I was a kid when Reagan was in office, but even *I* could grasp the level of difficulty he faced while in office. The problem is that Reagan, Bush and Bush didn't emulate heroes like Billy, getting busy with interns in the Oval Office, and they didn't have to face a press afraid to challenge Obama for fear of retaliation, accused of being "racist" by Sharpton, Holder, et al. I envy NONE of them the position of that office, though. Just look at the physical effects the campaign and first 6 weeks have had on Obama (although part of me is not entirely unconvinced that his wife is not a succubus, sucking the life out of him, since she looks better than ever). Point is, though, he ASKED for the job and needs to suck it up.

Go back to your Legos and Bratz dolls, snarkie, and leave the thinking to those qualified to do so.

Finally! Insight.

As they say, "Even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then."

Since everything I say is ALWAYS wrong, here goes:

Barack Obama is God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit incarnate, the greatest saint ever to walk the earth *AND* the greatest President ever elected in the history of all history; he will single-handedly lead us out of our current crises; he will NOT socialize America's healthcare system, allow abortions of ANY kind, or threaten a single civil liberty as defined in the Constitution of the United States; restore the federal government to a limited one predicated upon preservation of states' rights and slash the federal budget to only those expenditures needed for the defense of the Nation; dismantle the IRS, HHS, and reform Social Security to a viable system that ensures all citizens have adequate retirement funds.

FDR had NO clue that his New Deal programs were fucking the citizens of the United States over in every way, shape, and form.

George W. Bush was the WORST President ever to occupy the White House.

Ronald Reagan was Satan.

RIGHTWINGSNARKLE is the WISEST OF THE WISE and we should be thankful when he graces our sites with profoundly insightful comments.

Damn, I feel better, knowing all of what I just said was wrong.

LOL, Angie.

I'm waiting for the day snarkie fulfills his own "Even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then." and realizes homey has been shoving it up his ass, dry!

Then again, blind pigs have at least a little bit of brains. Snarkie doesn't.
