However, with such a sexually suggestive photo on news stands, they might see it as okay behavior with a sister or neighbor girl who is developing.

The way the photo is posed has little to nothing to do with nurturing your child, but is sexually suggestive, I feel to ramp up sales of the magazine.

I fully agree with you on when it is time to stop. My ex-wife always said, once they developed teeth, it was time to stop ;-)

I can only imagine too how embarrassed this boy will be when he is a young teen should someone find the photo and spread it around his school.

Seriously though Lew, I mostly agree with you but in regarding to 12 year old boys wanting to suckle at their mother's breasts, that is the last thing on their minds. No way.

Personally going up to 2 years to suckle is plenty long enough. That boy in the picture is almost 4 and the same mother has an adopted child who is 5 and she breast feeds him as well. The mother herself was suckled until she was 6. That is just not necessary though I understand in many third world countries, it would not be considered unusual. In our western society however, if a kid can walk, talk and fed himself at the table, he is beyond suckling.

When I had first read this article, I was pregnat with my daughter in 2009. I cried and prayed to God to heal the hearts of so many that had also read this story and help them heal from the loss and tragedy of baby Brianna. I also prayed that her beautiful innocent soul would be filled with all the love of the readers, so that she would feel the love she deserved in life. I don't understand how people could do this to a poor innocent child. I am appauled(sp?) at the fact that any other person could stand up for these monsters in court and act like it was okay for them to do this over such a long period of time, and say it was due to mental illness. All persons in this family should suffer, not only the ones who personally did this but the ones whom turned a blind eye to it. Did the hospital that released this child in their care not take pictures? Or what about her check ups why would they not follow up, seeing as she was a preemie? No neighbors, friends that knew these people? I just don't understand. CPS is a joke, they don't care for any children. Instead they go after families tgat are disiplining children properly. It's so upsetting, and heart wrenching.

If anyone thinks that by Obama's running all over the world kissing every other worlds leaders ass is considered good foreign policy, then they should be voting for Obama, because he does that so well. If anyone believes that Obama’s policies on ending this recession we have been in for so long as he has said on so many numerous occasions, then they should be voting for Obama. I can remember him saying that if he couldn't turn this economy around, he didn't deserve to be re-elected, well he hasn't, and he shouldn’t be re-elected . He had two years with a Democratic Congress and did nothing, they couldn't even come up with a budget and his was voted down 97-0 in the Senate. He has failed, and failed so miserably. And no matter how much spin you want to put on it, it can’t change the facts.
Do I give him credit for killing Osama bi laden? Not any more that I’ll give George Bush for his Water-boarding the animals who coughed up the information need. But his shameless self promotion and politicization of this is just about as low as he has even been before. I guess that he forgot that he had to be forced & dragged off the golf course on that day to make his “Gutsy” decision!!
Also bear in mind that Osama Bin Laden was a problem George Bush inherited from Bill Clinton. It's easy to forget that, since unlike Obama George Bush had enough character and class not to whine about the problems he inherited, which also included much of that Iraqi WMD intelligence and a public record of Democrats stating it was time to do something about Saddam Hussein.

Maybe Obama had to discuss it with his imaginary girlfriend, before he made that "Gutsy " call?

There is one other clinton scandal that I know of that has not been discussed by the media. It is probably the real reason for impeachment. I know about it because I am the victim (although I try not to be labled a victim) I was in the USMC. The situation leading up to Bill's unspeakable action was actually a victory for me.

Anyways, please excuse my attempt to educate everyone.

On a serious note, I have a problem that I can't seem to handle by myself.

I try to help people understand my dilemna by saying this about Bill's impeachment.

If we are to believe the main street media, we have to believe that:

The most popular US president of all time, at a time when the US economy was better than it has ever been, was impeached because he lied about having a mistress while married to Hillary.

If you believe that, we are in more trouble than I thought.

There is a perfectly reasonable explanation for Bill's impeachment. I am the guy to know, because I am the guy who was attacked by that scumbag.

You won't hear the truth about this subject from anyone else...apparently.

I well remember those butt cans hung on posts inside the old barracks at Ft. Jackson during Basic.

They were emptied numerous times each day for the same reasons.

We also learned to field strip them outdoors as well as pick up tons of butts others didn't strip.

"Smoke 'em if you got 'em" was also used in the Air Force... I recall my first days in basic training and the TI (same as DI) would allow smoking in the barracks only when he stated the 'smoke-em' line...but then only when the conveniently located butt cans (#10 cans about 1/4 filled with water) were used to put out the butts. The only problem with using those butt cans was the TI would come back un-announced and do a barracks inspection and everybody got gigged for having cigarette butts in the can...whether you smoked or not. We learned fast...we made up a rule that nobody would smoke whenever the smoke-em line was called out.
